Integration Objects releases intelligent platform based on next generation KPI and knowledge management technology

January 20, 2010 - Integration Objects announced that they have released their new intelligent application framework: KnowledgeNet (KNet). This platform pairs advanced integration capabilities with newly developed knowledge management technology for companies striving to achieve and maintain operation excellence.

KNet´s features allow users to have a global view of the enterprise, visualize processes, implement an enterprise-level decision support system and use a KPI expert function to monitor plant-wide performance, diagnose any deviations from operational objectives and suggest corrective actions for plant process and safety improvements. This can help managers and operators to make more effective business and operational decisions and identify areas for profitability improvement.

This intelligent platform would allow companies in any industry to not only integrate data found throughout a plant in existing MES applications, process control and ERP levels, but also use features such as a KPI calculation engine, root cause analysis, graphical rules, workflow management engine, and process and plant maps to monitor and manage plant operations and supply chain performance.

Free OPC Server Simulators testing tool announced by Integration Objects

Integration Objects announced that it has released a free, plug and play solution for testing OPC Client applications: OPC Server Simulators. This tool allows users to test any third party OPC Client application using simulated data and messages.

OPC Server Simulators includes both an OPC DA⁄HDA (Data Access⁄Historical Data Access) server and an OPC A&E (Alarms&Events) server simulator, giving end-users, developers and integrators the ability to conduct tests on simulated real-time data, alarms and events, as well as on simulated historical raw and processed data. Integration Objects´ products pass OPC Foundation Compliance Testing

Integration Objects is pleased to announce that five of their OPC software products have passed the OPC Foundation's Self-Tested Compliance test. The following products are now OPC Foundation Compliance certified: OPC HDA Server Enterprise, OPC HDA Server for InSQL, OPC HDA Server for MS Access, OPC HDA Server for Oracle and the OPC HDA Server for SQL Server. The "Self Tested" level of testing provides a process where OPC vendors can verify the correct operation of their products with a series of tests developed by the OPC Foundation. These tests determine what features of OPC specifications the product supports and verifies that these features are correctly implemented.
